Things to Make for a Wedding is a selection of ideas from the many Weddings and Events I have helped to decorate. There are dozens and dozens of Do It Yourself items to be made by the Bride and Family that can help to reduce the cost of such a large event. The Internet has an endless well of ideas and how to videos, sites and blogs. It will help tremendously for the first time Brides to be exposed to these ideas, then You can decide what works or You and what does not. Will keep adding as time goes. Keep tuned in. Thanks!
HEAD TABLE Bouquet Centerpiece.
This arrangement is meant to hold a small teardrop or round style Bridal Bouquet of no more 8 inches across. Can also be used for Bridesmaids of around same size. That are made in bouquet holders with floral foam. The handles, straight or angled, are not a problem with this design. Larger Cascade and Teardrop bouquets will need a much larger container and floral foam to security support and hold bouquets
Hand and Arm held Bouquet arrangements are made in a similar fashion except the blank area for the Bouquet is in the back with Bouquets facing forward.
1. Soak floral foam in water with floral preservative for 1-2 hours. Choose a container large enough to hold foam and bouquet- Here a high luster plastic, 9x7x2 inch container. Cut floral foam to fit just inside container
